Locating quality measurements, surveys, and scales can present significant challenges. This class will highlight resources and search strategies that can improve the likelihood of obtaining a specific measure and/or a review of that measure. We will review the content and capabilities of a number of databases and online repositories, including: Healthmeasures.Net, PsycInfo, PsycTests, Health & Psychosocial Instruments, and the Mental Measurements Yearbook.

Learning Outcomes:

• Understand best strategies for obtaining a measure, survey or scale
• Locate reviews and assessments of a measure, survey or scale
• Identify measures, surveys or scales on a particular topic
